Blessings in the Germann Household

Halleluiah!!! God has answered our prayers and we are pregnant!!! We are going to have a little Germann running around our home soon. We are almost 8 weeks along and very excited. Everything looks good this time. We got to have an ultrasound on Tuesday and got to see our little one's heart beating very strongly. AMAZING!! To see. It is so different when it is your own. The mommy to be is having a grand time battling morning sickness (almost 24hours a day), and the daddy to be is being very kind and doing cooking and dishes when I am not feeling up to it. Here are two of the pics from the ultrasound. They probably don't look much now, but the certainly mean a ton to us. Our due date is May 18. On a funny note, we are hoping somewhere down the line that God might bless us with twins, so when we got done with our ultrasound, Kevin kept telling people "they found Oleph (the names are Kevin's joke) but had some trouble finding Zven. He must have been hiding behind Oleph, and they will find him next time." It is fun to dream isn't it, and then to watch as your dreams become reality. We are going to have a baby!!!! God is good all the time!!!

A close up of his/her head. Can you see the eyes. Our amazing little alien baby.

New Things

Well, I am a little late on putting these pics up, but here are some from the last month or so. We've got our silly puppies, and of course, our cute new niece Caroline. She is precious and is the much younger identical twin to her sister, Anna. So, life has been keeping us plenty busy. We are still working away on the house, but have moved a few more boxes in. We had our final inspection done two weeks ago and did not pass. Oh well, we only have a couple of little things to fix and then we will pass. A few of them we have already done, so we can apply for our temporary occupancy. Yeah!!! We can legally have some furniture and decorations in our house. I also can move my house plants out of my mom's dinning room and into mine instead. What joys there are in the little things in life. We also celebrated Kevin's Birthday a couple of weeks late, but it was lots of fun. We got to play some badmitton and eat yummy stuff. Kevin got a Wheel barrow and we both pitched in to buy a television that was classified as a birthday present to both of us.

MonaVie

Well, everybody, my good friend Amy Sargeant has introduced me to something that I believe is quite amazing, and I want to share with anybody that I possibly can. It is a product called MonaVie. This is a fruit juice that is made with the Acai berry which is found in the amazon. This berry is a staple in their diet down in Brazil. The company making this product went around to many different places in the world trying to find areas that were lacking in certain diseases and what they were consuming. They found out that this area was lacking in heart disease, cancer, alzeimers, and arthritis. So, they discovered that this group of people consumed this berry on a daily basis. It grows on one of their palm trees. After researching and testing the qualities of this berry, they dicovered that it had the same amount of protein in it as an egg, the same amount of fatty acids as a tablespoon of olive oil, and 10 times the amount of antioxidants in it than the blueberry which is considered one of the highest we consume here in America. So, they decided to make a juice out of it. It contains 19 different fruits in it, some that I have never heard of before. The juice is all natural and contains only the pureed fruits.
They have discovered that people who take it have some major health benefits. The majority of people have claimed some type of benefit. The most significant things that I have heard of are that cholesterol levels have gone back to normal levels with an increase in the good cholestrol and significant decrease in the bad. This happened for my friends husband and many others. People's joints have felt much much much better, mine included. My back feels better than it has in a very long time. People with asthma who wheeze continually have stopped wheezing. People have more energy and mental clarity. The list goes on and on. Many of these statements are coming from people that I know, so I know for a fact that they aren't a fluck. I want others to know about it so that they can feel better. It is God's own fruit that He has provided for us.
Secondly, this is an amazing business. The people are fantastic to work with and are so excited about what this product is doing that it is hard to get the word out fast enough. It is a multi level marketing system, word of mouth. I have become a distributor and hope to have some financial as well as health benefits from this product. My friends that got me into this are now making $600 a month, and they have only been selling for 1 month. One of there friends is making $3000 a week. The market is fresh, and it is a product that people truly would want to consume. I joined up on the business side first off to pay for the product that I wanted to consume and then hopefully to make an income. It is real easy. I am normally not the kind of person that does stuff like this, but with something that has worked so quickly to help me feel better, I can't help but want to share it.
If you want more info, feel free to ask anything, leave a comment. I can ship you a bottle very easily. If you want to just try the stuff or want more info, or would like to find out more on the business side, just let me know. I have a link on the right side of the page to the MonaVie site. Check it out if you have a chance. I believe that God has done something amazing with this product.

A few more Packpacking pics

Backpacking

The last week of July, we got the wonderful priveledge of going backpacking in the beautiful Bighorn Mountains of Wyoming. It was amazing. The lakes were endless and the you hardly ever cast your rod in the water and didn't have a fish on the other end. We packed for 4 days and 3 cold night. The adventurers included Kevin and myself, Theresa (Kevin's sister), Greg (Kevin's close friend), and Billy (Greg's friend). We had a blast together, moaned about our aches and pains together, and made it back out together. It was so quiet out there that you could hear other people from a mile or so away just talking in normal voices. We believe that is why we didn't see much wildlife. We did manage to see one HUGE elk that ran off before we even registered that we saw him, and then a deer. Knee injuries kept us all humble and didn't allow for one to lord it over the other in the ability to pack the most or hike the fastest or be the toughest. God knew just what we needed to make the trip an adventure, but not a contest. God is so amazing in His creation. Being there, it would be very hard to believe that there was not a God. The stars were amazing. You could hardly find a black spot in the sky. And we even saw several shooting stars. The first day, we got rained on a fair bit as we were hiking and even got some hail. Fortunatly, it was only pebble sized. It was also the state swim meet while we were up there, so we got to see Kevin's younger brother and sister , and my cousin's swim. It was fabulous. Enjoy these pictures! They don't do justice to what we saw but give a pretty good idea.

Pappy, our New Puppy

We got a new puppy a few weeks ago and are enjoying him greatly. Pappy had been spending some time across the street from our house, but would run away if you tried to get close to him. Then one day, a car hit him. The people came by and asked if it was our dog. We said no, and then tried to go and get him to come to us. He ran off limping. Poor thing. The next day, he was sitting across the street, and Kevin was able to go and pet him. We carried him into the house and splinted him. He then went to the vet the next day and got all fixed up with a splint to wear for three weeks and some shots. They said he is about 7 or 8 months old. He is pretty tiny for a husky, and doesn't eat much yet, but we will see what we can do. He is very sweet and a keeper for us. He learns quickly too.

Old Blog Site

If you want to still view some of our old stuff, you can still go to www.germanns.net , but we will not be posting there anymore. Yeah for change and free technology!!! The internet is great (most of the time)!!!
