Fall Fun

The weather has been gorgeous around here. Calm, perfectly cool, and just delightful. It is wonderful to be able to go outside in a light jacket when it is 40 degrees. I only wish there was more time to spend outside. We are waiting patiently for Lily to arrive and excited for my parents to come up and visit this week. Kaelyn has become a pro bike rider and having more and more fun with it. Not too much to report at this moment.

I love those blue eyes!!!

Kaelyn's tower seat performing with her harmonica

Reading us some stories. She was having a blast making up a story and reading it like they do at the library, showing us the pictures. It was a fabulous evening of fun.

Turkey cupcakes. They were cute and tasty.

She has it all figured out and can finally steer and pedal at the same time. Before we know it she will be too fast for us.

37 weeks and 5 days

Progress is being made in the baby delivering process. I went to the Dr. today and I am now 2 cm dilated and 80% effaced. I am hoping to make it another couple of days, but we will just have to see what God has in store for our precious Lily. Can hardly wait to meet her.

We are also officially dried in at our house. Progress made there. Kevin has been doing an awesome job on the framing too. Downstairs is almost complete and upstairs just has a bit left. Then onto plumbing and electrical.

Wow, 2 months have passed!! Update here we come

You can tell it has been busy. It is nearing time for our little one to arrive, just 2-4 weeks to go. Amazing!! We can hardly wait to meet her. I am definitly wearing down at this point, mainly just because it is hard to move around. At least I am still sleeping. Thankfully, it looks like we will make it to full term. God has been good. Thank you all who have prayed.
Our house has been slow in the coming, but it has just been one hump after another. Anyone who has built a house knows what that is like. We are praying to get dried in real soon. We are so close, but between weather, things getting delivered on time, and contracters, it has been a rough road. We will look back on it all soon and it will all be worth it.
Kevin has been busy with some neat conferences that he has been able to go to, learning lots of awesome things about our amazing God. We feel so blessed and are full of joy. Kevin's work on community groups at our church has been fruitful. They are growing well and it is awesome. One step at a time.
Work for me has been crazy busy and next week I am back to full time. This break of getting to work part time has been a blessing, so I am thankful. Just hoping I have the energy to plug on. At least I get 8 weeks off after baby comes. I am praying hard for a part time position to open up between now and the end of those 8 weeks.
Kaelyn has been a busy girl too. She is so much fun and is learning so fast. It is fun to watch her learn. She has started dance class and is loving it. They do 30 minutes of tap and 30 minutes of ballet. Oh it is fun!! She delights our hearts. She is growing like a weed and becoming more independent by the day. She is going to be a fabulous helper with her little sister and has tried everything we have gotten for Lily on her stuffed friends. As of this last week, she has become very clingy to her stuffed puppy dog and her blanky. They go with us everywhere. It will make good company for her when Lily arrives.
Aside from the day in day out, that is what we have been up too. I am probably missing lots of things, but this placenta brain is blocking them from my memory. Here are some pics to enjoy.
Tap dancing, doesn't she look cute
Trying to stay warm working on our house
Our windows are in. Just two glass doors left.
The siding is going on. Taking a century, but it will be done someday and look great.
Cleaning out her first pumpkin. Oowie
Kevin's creation. It was good. Very creative.
Twinsie jammies
bundled up at the table for fun.
We have had lots of snow around here. Winter decided to start early.

Kaelyn jumping with her friend Carter. They were having a party.
Making tents has become a fun game.
The crib is now toddler proof (put back together for Lily) but Kaelyn has insisted spending some time in it. It is too cute. She has made a spot for her sister.
We got an owie again. Dislocated wrist at dance class. It is all better now.
35 weeks pregnant. Hanging in there.
Another tent daddy made. He is creative and I love it.
Kaelyn bundled all of her friends in Lily's new clothes.
Art class with our mom's group. It was lots of fun.
Trying on our costume before Halloween. The slippers weren't part of it, but she wanted them for the day.
In the jammies that Grammy made for her. Too cute.
