Thanksgiving in Oklahoma

All of the wonderful pics from our trip to Oklahoma for Thanksgiving. I had uploaded all of them a while back intending to blog about them but never finished the post. Silly me. We had a grand time and got to spend a good 2 weeks in OKC.  The girls got to play with their cousins and had a blast and we got to see several friends as well and my brand new nephew Caleb.  Silly boy couldn't wait 8 more hours for me to arrive until he decided to enter the world.  I almost made it.

The cutest cousins ever!!!!!

Love Grammy and Papa's swings. So many memories from being a kid myself
Walking the brick walls that I spent years enjoying

Outdoor potty training is the best.  Amazing to be able to do in November.

An adventure at the zoo

November Run Down

A busy month that now that I am blogging about it have forgotten what even occured. I think it was just a lot of preparing to travel to OKC. So just a few pics from the month to share.

Trunk or Treat

We had a blast Trunk or Treating it this year. Kaelyn had planned on being a mermaid for weekd now and when it came time to actually get dressed she changed her mind and said she wanted to be Rapunzel. She made up the costume and everything. Lily was "the apple of my eye". We then went to Grandpa and Gammy's to Trick or Treat. The girls were excited. The next few times we went over there, Lily asked for candy. Too cute. Then we headed off to church to get our trunk set up. We hadn't done this before, so it was fun to see what it was all about. A bunch of cars make a big circle and pass out candy from their decorated trunks. It was fun. We had a rain forest theme. Kaelyn helped come up with the idea that afternoon. Our trunk was complete with a laughing monkey that turned on when you walked by. It was fun and amazing that we pulled it off. The weather was fabulous for about an hour and then bitter cold and wind hit and they canceled everything early. (so thankful) We had fun anyways.

Dentist

Today Kaelyn had her second dentist appointment and was soooooo adorable.  When we arrived in the waiting room she said, "where's Gammy?  Doesn't she know I have an appointment."  She said that a couple of times before Gammy came to get her.  As they were getting ready to sit down Kaelyn tells Gammy, "I love the tooth tickler and Mr. Thirsty (the water sucker)".  It made Gammy's heart melt.  She also got a super awesome report and the dentist said she had the poster child teeth.  Yeah Kaelyn!!!!

Fall Photo Shoot

We headed to the park today to take some pictures with the fall foliage.  There girls were pretty coroporative so that helped.  It is funny though how you take about 50 pics and come out with 3 or 4 that are worth keeping.  They are good ones though.

Such Sweetness

Today I was trying to trim a torn fingernail that was pulling on the skin and I wad saying "owe" in the process.  The next thing I knew Kaelyn was stepping away whispering ," Jesus, will you make mommy's finger better please."  Then I got it taken care of and told her thanks for praying cause I got it off without making myself bleed and it doesn't hurt anymore.  I love her heart.

ABC's

Lily has been so precious at Gymnastics.  She loves to step up and down alternating feet while singing the abcs.  So cute and she is so pleased with herself.  One time Miss Wendi had them monkey hang from the bar while singing the abcs and she just looked at her saying "no no", got down and went straight to the step to do her step ups and sing.  The abcs did not belong on the bar for her.  We later had to try a new song.  Too cute.

Sheep

Yesterday we saw a sheep and Kaelyn told me everything she knew about sheep.  She started by saying that they sheer the sheep, dye it, spin it, and them knit it.  I was impressed with her order and use of words.  I then asked her where she learned all of that and she said, "curious George".  She is certainly learning from what she watches.  So smart.

She also read the whole hop on pop book and is enjoying discovering new words.  So amazing.

Exercise

Coach Germann has been on the look out for some workout videos for his kids at school when the weather gets cold so Kaelyn and Lily have been testing them out with him.  Too cute.

Happy 30th B-day Me

We got to celebrate in style this time.  We went to a newer Chinese resturant called Hibachi Grill and then went Bowling.  I had always wanted to take Kaelyn so here was the chance, plus we got the whole rest of the fam.  I won the first game and Alex won the second.  Kaelyn and Lily had fun rolling the ball down the dinosaur.  It was good to get together with everyone. Happy 30th B-Day to Me.
