Easter Fun

I just realized that I hadn't posted Easter pics. We had a fabulous weekend and headed over the mountain to visit Kevin's grandparents and see the Schilthuis family. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and we had fun playing cribbage and Wii with his grandparents and had an Easter party with our friends. We got to see the beautiful house that our friends have built and had a great picnic out on top of their house where they have built a patio. It was pretty awesome. We painted easter eggs and had an egg hunt. The kids had a great time. On Easter Sunday we got to go to church and have an Easter celebration. Then we headed back over the mountain back home. What a great time we had.

she wanted to wear her Easter hat all the way there.
She had a blast throwing leaves over the fence and watching them blow away. It was a great way to clean off the porch.

Playing some pinnocle.

Pretty views going this way.
On top of the house. It was fabulous.

Eating watermelon. What a treat to have this time of year. And it was yummy

Kaelyn's favorite part. They had a good asembly line going. Kaelyn put them in, Caleb took them out, and Jenna, put stickers on them.

The Big News

Well, for those of you that haven't heard yet, we are expecting baby #2. God's timing is perfect and we are thrilled. Everything looks great right now and I have been feeling super yucky, so that is good news for baby, not so much for me. I am starting to get things more under control and curb my nausea with a mixture of meds and eating a whole lot more often, but all in all things are going well. I am now 8 weeks along and this little one is due December 5th. This one wanted to add a new month to the family birthday calender. Sorry it has taken so long to post, but this exhausted momma just hasen't had it in her until now. Work is going well and have been helping delivery lots of babies. It has been a whole new change, but in a good way. A lot of new nursing skills to obtain, and a whole new way of thinking. The people I work with are great and I am having a lot of fun. Since they know my pediatric back ground, they called me down to the ER yesterday to start an IV on an 18 month old. I we nervous because of their IV equipment is different, but fortunately, by the time I got down there, someone had managed to get it done. They don't specialize in any pediatrics there, so the head nursing staff over the hospital has pegged me. I feel a bit overwhelmed by that thought, but I am trying to stand up strong and courageous and help out where I can.

We haven't taken pictures in a bit because we lost the camera charger in the move and just got a new one in the mail two days ago, so pictures will be coming soon.

Kevin is across the state in beautiful Jackson Hole working with Kevin Schilthuis, our good friend, building a huge house. They are having fun and the work is wonderful. While he is gone, my mom graciously came up to spend some time with Kaelyn and I to help out cause I have been in need of another set of hands to make sure Kaelyn eats good(when I can't look at food) and doesn't have to go to daycare for 13 hours a day. It has been a fabulous blessing. I even go to sleep in this morning.

I think that is about it for now. We will keep you posted.

Let it Snow Let it Snow Let it Snow

Didn't know what we were getting ourselves into. 3 big snow storms in a row. Whew. I hope that it is done now. It looks promising. Really the only problem with it has been trying to take care of the goats. It hasn't been all bad. We have some great goats milk to prove it, but I am sure the goats will be happier when they can play outside and not sink to their bellies in the snow. Kevin is really getting things rolling with his company, has some good leads and making some contacts. He is also making great headway at getting our house going. We hope to start in a couple of weeks. Kevin has been a dream come true taking care of Kaelyn and even stopped by my work the other day, took my car and got the oil changed for me. He has been fabulous. Kaelyn is having fun too and got to go to the library for story time and ride bikes at wal-mart and play with daddy. Work has been super busy for me and has me a bit worn out at the moment, but it is going very well. I will be super happy when I get to the working just 3 days a week. I am being stretched in my nursing skills, but have some good neat people pushing me and making me feel much more confident. So far I love it.

Today we got to try out another church at fell in love with it almost immediatly. It is where Kevin went when he lived here and it has undergone a lot of changes since then. The worship was fabulous and the message very Christ centered and giving in a heart warming way, and the people were very friendly and welcoming. We feel so blessed to be able to be included here. God is taking such good care of us.

Here are a few pics from the last week or so.

We are so proud of our little good eater. This was dinner the other day and she willingly ate almost every last bite.
