Cute Kaelyn
Our Kaelyn is doing awesome things these days too. She is loving doing school and is learning how to write her letters and numbers. She is also beginning to learn how to read. She is a great big sister and wants her Lily to do everything. The other big thing for our KK right now is gymnastics. She is quite a natural and loving it. There hasn't been anything she couldn't do yet. She loves her animals and is a very good sport about it when Moeglly tackles her. She still goes right back out. She loves to cook and even enjoys helping with chores (for short periods of time). She has mastered riding her bike on flat surfaces (with training wheels). She even goes fast at times. We can now go together on a bike ride. She also has a new bed now with new blankets and pillows. She loves it. She is also learning a lot about God's love. It is wonderful to see her blossom in the Lord. We pray that she never ceases to be amazed by His greatness and love. We love you Kaelyn!!! You never cease to amaze us.
Month 9
Must put in a recap of Lily's 9th month. She is 10 months old today, but boy has month 9 been a big one for her. This month she mastered crawling on hands and knees, walking around furniture, standing on her own, doing some sign language (drink, all done), has been peeing on the potty several times a day, and saying momma and dadda and ya (da) and that (dat). She babbles a ton and loves to sing. At church, she raises her hands when we sing. She has learned to like other people other than mom (such a wonderful relief at times). She has even gone to the nursery a couple of times (still not the best time yet). She adores her sister and wants to do everything that she is doing. Of course Kaelyn doesn't always think that is a good idea, but she loves her too and wants Lily to join in on many of her activities. It is fun watching them play together. We are working on some discipline issues, especially staying seated in her high chair. She climbs on everything now, the picnic table, her push toy, the stairs (loves to be chased up the stairs), and anything else she can attempt. She still loves her bath. She has started sleeping til right around 4am (little turkey not wanting to sleep through the night). Let's see, what else. She keeps trying to cut 4 teeth on the top, but they still haven't busted through. She got to meet the whole Hutchison clan, take a jeep ride, and play in Spring Creek. She got her first set of shots as well and another yucky illness. It appears to have been an atypical case of Roseolla. Got that one out of the way. I think that about sums things up. She is a great eater, and is napping twice a day. We discovered a possible food allergy as well (eggplant). She has started putting objects in buckets and even put the circle into the circle hole on her shape bucket. We are very impressed with our little girl. She is so much fun and such a sweet heart. Oh ya, and has a strong personality as well. Loved the ice cream fit at Humphrey's. Wouldn't have it any other way that is for sure. We love you Lily Anne!!!!
